HMS Juno was a light cruiser which in 1915 was sent to the Persian Gulf as part of a force that attempted to curtail the anti-British activities of the Tangistanis led by Rais Ali Delvari in what is now Iran. On 13th August, 1915, a landing party went ashore and helped to repel an attack on the British positions there, during which Charles King was killed.
